Synopsis

In Viçosa do Ceará, every leaf has a story and every backyard hides knowledge that withstands the test of time. Esthefane Carvalho's newest work reveals the strength of traditional knowledge about medicinal plants, weaving together the voices of healers, farmers, and forest guardians with clear and accessible technical explanations. Between science and ancestry, this book invites the reader to rediscover the power of nature and the cultural value that springs from the Serra da Ibiapaba. A sensitive, necessary, and profoundly relevant immersion for those who wish to understand, preserve, and reconnect with the knowledge that is part of life in the heart of Brazil.
