Synopsis

Simply putting words together does not make a poem. A poem is made of pleasures that are becoming increasingly rare: life, friends, love, a Lou Reed song, bare feet on the sand at the beach. Little things that we keep in the recesses of our existence, in jars filled with memories. One fine day we decide that the time has come to share them. This is what the poet Gilson Soares Cordeiro does when he provides us with his jar poems, one of the best poems produced in the Portuguese language. A beauty!
