Professor of the Postgraduate Program in Geography (Masters in Geography) at Vale do Acarau State University/UVA. PhD in Fenerogamus Taxonomy from UFC. FUNCAP Productivity Scholarship.

José Falcão Sobrinho, Universidade Estadual Vale do Acaraú (UVA)

Post Doctorate in Geography from the Federal University of Ceará/UFC, PhD in Geography from the University of São Paulo/USP and Master in Geography from the University of Uberlândia/UFU (MG). He is an associate professor of the Geography course. He is currently a Permanent Professor and Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Geography (Academic Master's Degree) – MAG at the Universidade Estadual Vale do Acaraú/UVA. He coordinates the Semiarid Research and Extension Laboratory and the Research Group: Research and Extension in the semi-arid region (DGP / CNPq) and is part of the Research Chamber of the Dean of Postgraduate Studies and Research at UVA.
